In 2005, Labour got a massive majority in the House of Commons, even though six out of ten people voted against them.
52% of voters did not elect anyone. More eligible people didn’t vote at all in 2001 and 2005 than elected the Government.
Labour promised a referendum on how we elect MPs in 1997.
Isn’t it time we had a say?
Unlock Democracy, with the help of the Electoral Reform Society and Make Votes Count will be distributing more than one million postcards across the country calling for the Prime Minister to give voters real choice and real fairness in UK elections.
Could you spend an afternoon delivering just 100 postcards around your local area? If you can, please order a batch using the form below. To ensure we can get these out to as many people as possible, we are asking for a suggested £5 donation for every 100 postcards (it costs us £3 to print these and get them to you). Please give whatever you can afford.
Many thanks! We’ve exceeded our million postcard target now – with your help we could deliver another million!
You can also sign the petition online.
