Party Funding

Far too often there is a perception that money and politics go hand and hand and that if there is not actual corruption then there is at least the perception of corruption. A consensus is gathering for reform: it is crucial that this consensus is built around clear unambiguous principles all parties can unite around.

As well as producing numerous publications on the subject, the Network runs Party Watch, a website committed to promoting transparency about how political parties are funded. We also conducted a consultation on party funding as part of our submission to Sir Hayden Phillips’ Review of the Funding of Political Parties which has now been archived on this website.
