Section 62

Parties only have to publish details of donors giving £5,000 or more in the course of the year. To prevent donors from avoiding attention by splitting their gifts into lots of small amounts, parties have to record all donations of £200 and total up those received from each source. Section 62 of the PPERA 2000 regulations require donations that are part of an overall gift of over £5,000 to be published.
